1.The short version
Feedbacker sets no cookies at all. Not one, on any page.
We do use three small items of browser local storage to keep you logged in and remember one display preference. These are listed in full below. Everything we store is strictly necessary to deliver the service you asked for, which under UK law means we do not need your consent, and you will not see a cookie banner.
We store nothing whatsoever on a patient's device when they scan a QR code.
3.Exactly what we store
Cookies: none. Our servers send no Set-Cookie header on any page, and our application never writes a cookie.
Local storage, on the dashboard only, after you log in:

All three are exempt from the consent requirement: the first two under the authentication exemption, the third under the user preference exemption.
Payments. When you pay, you are taken to a checkout page hosted by Stripe on stripe.com. Stripe sets its own cookies there for fraud prevention and to make the payment work. Those are strictly necessary for the payment and are governed by Stripe's own privacy policy at https://stripe.com/privacy. They are set on Stripe's website, not ours.
4.What we do not use
- No cookies of any kind
- No Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics, or any other website analytics
- No advertising or retargeting technology
- No social media pixels, including Meta, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- No session recording or heatmap tools
- No cross-site tracking
- No third party fonts, scripts, or assets loaded from outside our own systems
5.Patients and QR codes
When a patient scans one of your QR codes, our system records that a scan happened and sends their phone on to the destination. Nothing is stored on their device. No cookie, no local storage, no identifier of any kind. The page they see makes no request to any third party.
Once they arrive at the destination, for example Google, that site's own cookie policy applies. That is between the patient and that platform, and is outside our control.
6.Controlling what is stored
You can block or clear cookies and site data in your browser settings, usually under settings, then privacy. Be aware that clearing the items in section 3 will log you out of Feedbacker and you will need to sign in again.
7.Changes
If we ever add analytics or any technology that is not strictly necessary, we will update this page and introduce a consent banner asking your permission before anything loads. We will not add tracking quietly.
